FARSI1 is the first international free-to-air general entertainment channel targeting Farsi-speakers across the Middle East and Western Asia. The channel is operated by Dubai-based Broadcast Middle East, which is a 50-50 joint venture between MOBY Group and News Corporation.

FARSI1 was launched in August 2009. It is the first channel to offer quality, compelling entertainment programs dubbed in the Farsi language. FARSI1 broadcast a range of shows from the US, Latin America and Asia and is aimed to appeal to the whole family.

FARSI1 is available on Eutelsat W3A across the Middle East including Iran, the UAE, Afghanistan and Tajekistan as well as parts of Europe and Asia.
